Thought I better update this some as it’s been years.

A lot of people have been into me for a while now to join the Blogging sensation, and I must admit I avoided doing so for a very long time.  In fact the only reason this site is here at all is I am sick of losing notes I have scribbled down in one of  a million note pads I have and never being able to find them when I need them.

In the world of IT it’s impossible to know every thing so once in awhile (ie every second hour) we write what we just did down, and then promptly lose it just as fast.  So to try and combat this waywardness I am going to ‘blog’ these notes.

A little bit about myself, I’m a geek currently employed as the IT Manager for a 400+ employee company here in Brisbane, Australia.  Solaris is my OS of choice, though I daily use Mac OSX, Linux, Windows XP, Server 2000/03/08 and even Windows 7.  Hmm lets see according to the pycho people (HR) here at work I have an extreme D personality with an underlining smacking of a C…

I have 2 gorgeous children a boy and a girl, we reside on the Southside of Brisbane with my wife, Nitty.

When I am not working in IT, I spend my time using the tools of my education in the area’s of Consumer Law and Political Science.
